The Fly Girlz – Da’ Brats From Da’ Ville (2009)

this is the debut album from NYC’s The Fly Girlz, a hip-hop group from comprised of the spritely, roughly middle school aged female MCs you see on the cover. it was produced by Nathan Corbin from experimental noise punks Excepter. it sounds like 12 year old black girls rapping over beats by someone in Excepter.

this album has to be at the absolute farthest end of some musical continuum, i just can’t figure out which one that would be. i am stumped. i give up. music deities, you win.

god damn.

p.s. i discovered this album via popular internet weblog Honey Power. you should definitely check it out.
