Outputmessage – Nebulae (2006)

i happened upon outputmessage’s nebulae a few weeks ago in chicago and i’ve been digging his smooth, spacey electronic styles ever since. bernard farley molds synths and beats that wouldn’t sound out of place on aphex twin’s selected ambient works and crafts them into rich, concise, and warm bursts of sound. nebulae doesn’t break much new ground, but sometimes you are just looking for someone who is good at what they do. for that, nebulae is satisfying and then some.
